Hmm. Here is the second part.
The presentation btw was EPIC btw. x3 ~squee

Notes:
-SPEEDLINE ABUSE!! xD Part one was all about gradients...
-Hmm, I had originally planned for my opponent to "U-turn" his Mothim AND his Scyther.... Of course we couldn't, with the 3 pokemons per trainer rule.... Oh well. Mothim was also nice to draw. I had fun with his "flexible" wings.
-The Mothim did a face-palm. xDD Erm I should say faint or head splat...but...face-palm sounds cooler. xD
-OHMEGEE sparks are flying from her pants!! @D@;;

>_>;; ....eh HEM. Anyways.

-Blah blah monologue about uncontrollable emotions...even at 17 yrs old...
EDIT:: Hrrgh...forgot to mention...its probably not smart that Kay is spilling the beans about her Pokemon types...but storyline-wise maybe its necessary to re-mention the emotions.



Ergh. The rest of the parts will be up in the morning.

I like the way you've drawn my buddy's trainer Max there, and your style's pretty slick. I'm having a bit of confusion reading your panels though--although there's lots of dynamic paneling and action going on, there's no backgrounds, as well as not much actual depiction of the actions being taken.

What I mean by that is in your panels you show the pokemon powering up the attack, and then suddenly cut to the outcome...it's rendered skillfully, but I had a bit of a hard time figuring out what's going on in some of your panels.

That said, it's still an interesting read. Looking forward to reading your other pages!

Thanks!! :] Max was a pretty cool character himself. xD

Hmm. I will keep that in mind from here on. I believe the biggest confusion is the transition between the Ninetales and the Mothim running into each other with their attacks, and then both fainting.

I was like OMG why is Kay revealing all her secrets, but then it does make more sense strategy wise. Its like Yugioh and Naruto. They always reveal everything.

Kay has sparkley pants. I feel so old. The only pokemon I know are ninetails and raichu.

You're pretty lucky that talking is a free action.
In all seriousness tough, your style is pretty interesting - some people might find it boring, but I like how the characters discuss things like strategies and fighting styles. Good work so far.

Yeah I thought about doing all the talking in the first stages, so later on, there is enough character development to go on straight into action.
I suppose it can also be looked upon as an attempt at character interactions.
